Fulford Tennis Club, York, England, was founded in 1949, and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 1999. We are both a friendly and successful club and welcome new players of all ages and standards.

Club Sessions
Club sessions are held throughout the year on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6.30 pm onwards. During the match season from May to Mid-August, Monday sessions are held on the school courts adjacent to the club. Also, on Saturday afternoons from 2.00 pm
Teams
Fulford Tennis Club runs 7 mixed teams, 3 men's teams and 3 ladies teams plus junior teams. See Fixtures and Results for details.

Congratulations to our Men's National Club League team who have just been promoted to Yorkshire Division 1. If you are interested in joining the club and playing high level Men's tennis, please contact Martin on e-mail or call him on 07950 283511
Adult Coaching
Tom, our qualified coach, is running a series of 'Rusty Rackets' coaching sessions for less experienced players. Ideal for those who want to take up tennis again after a long break or who haven't played much and don't feel confident enough yet to join a club. These sessions are held on Saturday afternoons from 6.15 p.m. Please contact Tom on 07595737098 for more information.
Club Tournaments
The club organises a number of tournaments between March and October. This begins with the Opening Tournament which is open to all club members. Two weeks later is the Spring Cup, a prestigious invitation event for 20 couples. The Club Championships are held in September. October sees the End of Season Tournament and the very popular Floodlit Tournament. See Tournaments and Events for details.

Wimbledon Tickets 2009
The L.T.A. have decided that next years club allocation of Wimbledon tickets will be dependent on the number of club members who have signed up for their British tennis membership.
